Country Road launches first local store at Ballito Junction

You can find it next to the Level 4 entrance of Woolworths.

Stylish local shoppers can now enjoy their very own Country Road store after a grand opening at Ballito Junction on Tuesday afternoon (March 31).

The popular clothing and lifestyle brand identified Ballito as a good match for its offering, citing an existing following and room for further growth.

“We saw a natural opportunity to bring the brand closer to our customers in this community,” said Country Manager, Kay Raidoo.

“Ballito Junction, in particular, offers a premium retail environment that aligns well with the Country Road brand. Its positioning, footfall and customer profile made it a strong fit for our next phase of expansion in South Africa.”

Located at Shop 406 in the mall, next to the level 4 Woolworths entrance, the Country Road Ballito store offers a premium retail space focused on quality and modern design. Shoppers can expect a full range of clothing, accessories and homeware, with recent collections emphasising versatile women’s pieces suited to everyday coastal living.

“The space has been designed using recycled and locally sourced materials, connecting our global standards with the local coastal environment,” said Raidoo.

“We are committed to creating products that are thoughtfully made to last, alongside an elevated yet accessible shopping experience.”

The store has also created local opportunities, with staff recruited from the wider Ballito community.

“We are proud to bring Country Road to Ballito and look forward to becoming part of this vibrant coastal community,” she said.

“We’re thrilled to begin our journey with customers in Ballito and build long-term relationships.”
