A body was found on Shaka’s Head railway track

A woman from Ballito was allegedly raped.

Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes last weekend:

A business apartment on Phezulu Road, Ballito, was broken into on Friday.

A car was broken into in Shakaskraal on Friday and a laptop was stolen.

The body of a person with a head wound was found on the Shaka’s Head railway track on Saturday.

A business apartment was broken into in Shaka’s Head on Saturday. Computers, laptops and electrical tools were stolen.

A man was arrested in Etete on Saturday. He allegedly broke into a house and stole furniture.

A woman from Ballito was allegedly raped on Friday night, reportedly by a man she met in a club.

Umhlali SAPS remind residents and holidaymakers not to leave valuable items in their cars when they are going out the beach.

They also urge residents to report crimes against women and children and human trafficking.

Police urge residents who applied for competency certificates and firearm licences to go to the firearm office at the station for collection from Monday to Wednesday before 10am.
