Burglar uses a brick to assault a Ballito resident

A man was stabbed in Shakaskraal and his money and cellphone were stolen.

Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes last weekend:

· A house was broken into in Etete township, next to Knock Out Store, on Friday. Clothes, DVD and a hair clipper were stolen.

· A burglar assualted a Ballito senior resident (94) with a brick at his house in Hillary Drive on Saturday night. One man was arrested.

· A bottle store was broken into in Umhlali on Saturday. Liquor and cigarettes were stolen.

· A man was stabbed in Shakaskraal, near the garage, on Sunday night. His cellphone and money were stolen. He was taken to Stanger Hospital.

Umhlali SAPS urge residents residents to report crimes against women and children and human trafficking.
