Protesters on the P110 road at Doringkop have vowed to continue causing disruptions until KwaDukuza Mayor Ricardo Mthembu addresses them.

This is according to the residents of the Sokesimbone area who torched two timber trucks and stoned a third to voice their anger against Ward 1 councillor Dumsani Ndimande.
Public Order police were called in yesterday to restore calm after more than 100 people had gathered.
The road is still closed and motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
