Umhlali SAPS recorded the following serious crimes over the past week:
- A residential burglary in Sheffield where goods to the value of R25 000 were stolen.
- A case of theft at Telkom.
- Theft out of a car at a shopping centre.
- A case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm at a school in Groutville.
- A housebreakin in Etete.
- An assault at a mall in Ballito.
- A house robbery at an estate in Ballito.
- A case of rape in Sheffield.
A total of 23 arrests were made in the course of the week.
