House break-in suspects arrested in Ballito

The men were found to be connected to a number of other house break-in cases.

Plans to steal from a home in a Ballito estate backfired for two men this week after they were caught in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

At around 4.30am the two suspects were spotted by a resident of the estate who immediately notified security.

According to IPSS Security operations director Brendan Knott, four vehicles were dispatched after the estate security called for back up.

The two men made their way down to the beach where they hid among the rocks.

“The security officers held their positions on the beach until the suspects appeared from the rocks and were eventually arrested.”

After being taken in they were found to be connected to a number of other house break-in cases.

Among the items were two cellphones and a watch.
