The burning tyre protesters were back in action causing traffic delays on the N2 northbound before the Sibaya offramp this morning.
For the second day in a row the protesters, who are reportedly residents of the informal settlement Blackburn, have been disrupting traffic on the N2.
Apparently because they are unhappy that their electricity has not been restored.
(Update) Protest Action; N2 Southbound before Sibaya I/C; Road closed; Drive carefully.
