Zamani Township councillor arrested for murder

Ntleko was allegedly one of the people who assaulted a man accused of housebreaking in November last year.

About 50 Zamani Township residents protested outside the KwaDukuza magistrates court this morning (Tuesday), as their councillor Commie Ntleko and four other residents appeared.

Ntleko, who is an independent councillor, was arrested with other four residents on Monday and charged with murder.

It is alleged that Ntleko was one of the people who assaulted Kwanda Dlamini who was accused for house breaking in November last year.

Dlamini later died at the Stanger Hospital.
