Robbers dressed as cops hold-up Ballito Junction store

The thieves reportedly got away with several valuable items.

The Ballito Junction regional mall has again been targeted after staff and customers at Cherry Jewellers were held-up by armed robbers tonight.

According to our sources, it is believed that three men who were dressed in police uniform entered the store early this evening.

There were reportedly three staff members and two customers, with their children, at the store when the hold-up took place.

The fake cops reportedly got away with several valuable items.

“I can confirm that an armed robbery took place, but exact details are still to be confirmed,” said Umhlali SAPS spokesperson captain Vinny Pillay.
