Somalian shot and killed in Thembeni

The man was killed at the shop that he both runs and lives in.

A Somalian man has been killed after being shot multiple times at his shop in Thembeni, outside Groutville, on Tuesday afternoon.

It is alleged that the 25-year-old man was shot by his roommate.

The foreigner was renting a shop called “WozaWoza” that had a room where both him and his friend, who is also his business partner, were staying.

KwaDukuza police spokesperson constable Sibusiso Khuzwayo said the man was shot five times in the face and stomach.

“Police are investigating a case of murder and the suspect is still at large.

“We hope to arrest him soon,” said Khuzwayo.
