
A man, in his early forties, has been put behind bars for allegedly raping his wife last weekend.
Umhlali SAPS spokesperson captain Vinny Pillay said the man’s wife opened a case against him.

“The couple live together in Shaka’s Head and it was alleged that the incident took place during a domestic dispute. The woman said her husband forced himself on her. He denied that this was true.”
Pillay said the man has been kept in police custody and will appear at the Umhlali Magistrates Court during the course of this week.
