A well known taxi boss in his late forties was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Shakaskraal this morning.
Umhlali SAPS spokesperson captain Vinny Pillay said the shooting, which is suspected to have been taxi related, took place outside USave in the Shakaskraal CBD.
“Around 9am, a taxi owner was seated in his car in the USave parking area. Witnesses report that a few men, who were in a white or silver grey car, drove passed and shot at the taxi boss’s vehicle. His car then rolled and crashed into a fence.”
