A 27-year-old man was arrested recently at the KwaDukuza magistrates court on charges of rape and murder.
The man was out on bail at the time on charges of armed robbery and his court case was in progress.
The cops apprehended him at the court on 28 March.

It is alleged that last year January he had invited his girlfriend to visit him at his house in Lot 14 in Stanger, where he allegedly raped her before stabbing her to death.
“The woman’s body was found with countless stab wounds in a bush near the man’s residence,” said Ilembe cluster police spokesperson Sibusiso Khuzwayo
Police found a beer bottle at the murder scene with the accused’s fingerprints on it.
He will be appearing at the Durban High Court on April 18 where he is expected to apply for bail.
