A man was found dead in a white bakkie on the side of the road near the R72 towards Stanger this afternoon.
The roughly 55-year-old man had a gun shot wound in his thigh and was believed to have been on his way to the Stanger hospital.

IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst said when they arrived at the car, he had bled out and was declared dead.
KwaDukuza SAPS spokesperson constable Sibusiso Khuzwayo said it was unclear why the man had been shot and that investigations were underway.
