ML Sultan Secondary schoolgirl found dead after going missing

Police found a black jersey, male underwear and a blood-stained knife at the scene.

The body of a 17-year-old missing schoolgirl was found near the Shakaville sports ground in KwaDukuza today.

ML Sultan Secondary School Grade 10 pupil Ronica Chimukoko was reported missing yesterday when she failed to return home from school.

Her body was found in nearby bushes at the sports grounds with multiple stab wounds.

The police also retrieved a schoolbag, her school uniform, a black jersey, male underwear and a blood-stained knife.

Police are investigating.
