Five days left for SA expat voters to submit VEC10
Voters abroad must get their forms in by March 12.
South African citizens living abroad must submit notice of intention to vote by 5pm South African time on Wednesday, March 12.
According to the Vote Home Facebook site, as of today only 13 000 people have notified the IEC of their intention to vote abroad.

South Africans abroad will only be able to vote at their nearest South African embassy, consulate or high commission.
After having indicating intention, voters abroad must vote in person on Wednesday, 30 April at the embassy, consulate or mission indicated on their VEC10 application, and must take their valid SA ID document, temporary ID certificate and SA passport along when they cast their ballot.
In order to qualify to vote abroad, you must be a South African citizen.
By law, it is not possible to vote abroad on any date other than 30 April 2014, and no exceptions can be made.
