Countdown to Christmas Country Fair
A must on a North Coast social calendar.
The Christmas Fair Fund’s Country fair will kick off on Wednesday, November 6 at Collisheen Estate.
The 61st fair will run for two days and judging by previous years, the fair is a must on a North Coast social calendar. Shoppers come from far afield to enjoy the festive atmosphere, the Christmas theme and a day out with friends.
Over 80 stalls will offer unique and mainly hand crafted goods, foods, drinks and countless other items. The fair is an excellent opportunity to get some early Christmas shopping done, especially for some rare and hard to get items.
Besides the delicious Christmas cakes and treats Fund members are famous for, clothing, gifts, ceramics, jewellery, décor, toys, Christmas decorations and so much more will be available This is an opportunity for moms to get some serious shopping done without worrying about their children as there will a supervised play area for the kids. The little ones will be well looked after and entertained.
Traffic congestion experienced at past fairs will no longer be a problem this year. The new access road from Orchid house will lead to parking areas and maps of all the stalls will be handed out at the entrance.
Tickets will be available at the entrance at R40 per person. Tea, coffee and generous treats are included with the entrance fee. Hungry patrons can attend the harvest table lunch for R50 per head.
