Load shedding moves to stage two
Load shedding stages change as Eskom is unable to meet the demand.
Eskom moved to stage two load shedding at 12pm today and this is likely to continue until 10pm this evening.
Eskom said this is due to a combination of units not returning from maintenance today and low reserve levels at their pumped storage schemes and open cycle gas turbines.
Ballito will have load shedding from 6pm to 8pm.
Umdloti and La Mercy will have load shedding from 4pm to 6pm.
Stanger will have load shedding from 6pm to 8pm.
