Catch a fish with Miss Ballito
Miss Ballito is hosting a fishing competition to raise funds for the Zimbali Rotary Club.
Calling all fishermen, and women, get ready for the sexiest fishing competition of the year at the Tinley Manor Ski Boat Club on July 11.
The Miss Ballito Fishing Competition will be a fun day of fishing for a good cause, as all the proceeds will go to the Zimbali Rotary Club.
“I love fishing and I thought this would be a great way to bring the fishing community together, while raising money for charities like the North Coast Courier Orphan Fund and Summerhill House,” said Kirsten Martins, the reigning Miss Ballito.
Anyone with a boat or paddle ski and a fishing rod can enter, but hurry, because entries are limited to 30 motorized vessels, with no limits on paddle skis.
Kingfisher, Mustad and Stealth are already on board as sponsors.
Hook a big snoek or tuna and you could get one of the fantastic prizes such as a fishing trip for ten people on the Isihuhwa-Crowned Eagle boat.
One of the lucky boats will have Kirsten Martins join them on their fishing spree, giving them a little extra Miss Ballito luck.
To enter, go to Hook, Line and Sinker in Ballito or Salt Rock to collect your entry form or go to the Miss Ballito website.
