Two arrested for farm attack
Police made a breakthrough in the murder and attempted murder of Johnson brothers.
A task team from the KwaDukuza Cluster have made a breakthrough into the murder, attempted murder and armed robbery on a farm in Inyoni, near Mandeni on Tuesday, June 2.
Peter Johnson (56) was killed whilst his brother Ian (54) was injured after the armed robbery on their farm.
After the attack, police launched a manhunt to search for the suspects.
“The team worked around the clock for the past two days and have taken two suspects in for questioning in the early hours of Friday morning. A 42-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman are in custody and detectives are on the trail of the outstanding suspects,” said KZN police provincial spokesperson Colonel Jay Naicker.
