Load shedding in stage two
An increased electricity demand forces Eskom to implement load shedding.
Eskom will implement stage two load shedding from 4pm today, which is likely to continue until 10pm this evening.
This is due to increased electricity demand and a shortage of generation capacity resulting from technical faults at some of Eskom’s units.
Ballito will not have any load shedding, while Stanger will go out from 4pm to 6pm.
Umdloti’s lights will go out from 8pm to 10pm.
