Feeding and clothing the homeless

Church outreach team gathers every week to feed the needy.

CRC Church, Ballito provides support and care to the homeless and less fortunate in the KwaDukuza area through the Kuyasa outreach programme that feeds and clothe the homeless.

An outreach team gathers at the park across from the Ballito Bay Mall every Saturday from 7am where they give food and clothes to the homeless in the area.

Feeding about 50 adults, a team of volunteers prepare the food on Fridays for the outreach team to take it to the park early the next morning.

The church provide basic nutrition food like rice, mielie-meal, vegetables, beans, bread, butter, peanut butter, jam, sweets, tinned foods, tea, coffee, milk, sugar and fruit juices.

The church’s purpose is to bring hope and support to the homeless living on the streets and to assist them in transitioning from living on the streets back into society as working class citizens.

If you wish to find out more about this ministry or would like to sponsor food and clothing, please feel free to contact CRC Ballito on 032-946-2299 during office hours from 8am to 4.30pm.
