On Friday morning, Eskom started the day by implementing load shedding in stage one at 6am.
At around 8.20am, Eskom moved to stage two load shedding.
This is likely to continue until 10pm tonight.
If the situation changes, we will keep you updated.
There are concerns that load shedding may stretch into the weekend due to the cold weather and Eskom urges consumers to save electricity where they can.
Stanger and Ballito has load shedding from 8am to 10am and Ballito will have load shedding again from 4pm to 6pm tonight in stage two.
Tongaat will have load shedding from 10am to 12pm and Umdloti will have load shedding from 4pm to 6pm.
