A 27-year-old man from Ballito has been reported missing since Monday morning.
Roan de Beer was last seen at 8am at the Milk Café, where he is the general manager.
De Beer was with his mother-in-law Lizette Liebenberg, who is the owner of Milk Cafè, to discuss business plans.
Liebenberg said De Beer left to run an errand but never returned.
“We are all very worried about him because this is totally out of character,” said Liebenberg.
She said he is a happy guy who is always excited to get back home to his wife, Marisa, who is expecting their first son.
“Three days before he disappeared, Roan was very sick and pale and did not talk much,” said Liebenberg.
Liebenberg filed a missing person report on Monday evening at Umhlali SAPS
De Beer’s car, a white Audi TT with a NT registration is also missing.
If anyone has any information on his whereabouts, please contact Daniel van Wyngaardt from the Ballito Hawks on 083 284 2813.
Lt Col Dieter Fittkau confirmed that a case was opened.
