Family contacted by missing man

The man sent a text message to his brother and wife.

Roan de Beer, the Ballito resident who went missing on Monday morning, contacted his brother Riguard at 11am on Wednesday and asked for money to come back home.

Roan’s wife, Marisa said she received a text message from her husband on Tuesday evening saying that he’s sorry.

“He also texted his brother, he did not phone us,” said Marisa.

“I know he is okay, but something is going on because he is clearly stressed,” she said.

She said she just wants Roan to come back home safely as soon as possible.
