Boosting confidence with Woman in Business Award

Manuella Botha awarded for inspiring confidence in other woman.

Hirsch Ballito recently held their monthly Woman in Business Networking meeting in partnership with the Ilembe Chamber where Manuella Botha, from Image Inspire, was named as the June finalist of the Margaret Hirsch Woman in Business Achiever Competition.

Botha was chosen as the deserving winner because she has successfully run her image consultancy business on the North Coast for the last two years, helping to boost her clients’ confidence, adding value to their lives and giving them that much needed nudge to “take on the world!”

Guest speaker, and the May finalist in the competition was Sarah Swainson, owner of Sarah Elizabeth lingerie whose motto is Confidence Worth Sharing.

Swainson explained that confidence is key if women want to succeed in life.

“Confident people do not always feel confident. They work on it by taking one step at a time to celebrate who they are, they also celebrate other people’s success.”

Putting the ladies through their paces during the event was Chantelle Nicholson from Sugardance, who gave a short demonstration on Zumba Sentoa.

Nicholson has the distinction of being the only qualified Zumba Sentao teacher offering classes in the whole of KZN.

She explained that Zumba Sentoa combines strength and resistance training with innovative dance moves, using a chair as your dance partner.

“It is a matter of pulling up a chair – and toning your entire body. It focuses on defining your muscles, improving overall cardiovascular health and burning calories in the process,” said Nicholson.
