Simbithi’s final growth spurt
New development will suit the pockets of young and old.
In line with Ballito’s rapid rate of growth, the Simbithi eco-estate is expanding with a new development.
This development, called ‘Jacana at Simbithi’, will be the final piece of land earmarked for construction in the estate. The main goal for the developers was to create something that will suit young buyers as well as those more financially comfortable.
Marketing director Sean Newton has eight years experience in Ballito’s property market and said there are many investment opportunities in the area.
“Given Ballito’s close proximity to King Shaka airport, much of the development on the North Coast is concentrated here, which creates exciting opportunities in property,” said Newton.
Out of the 32 sites currently on sale as part of the first phase of the development, 10 have been sold so far with prices ranging from R2.2m for a two-bedroom simplex to R6.5m for a five-bedroom villa.
Newton stilled the community’s fears of water and electricity issues and said the land will be irrigated by using water storage tanks placed underground, solar panels on some roofs and inverter systems in all the homes to address load shedding and save power.
