Standing tall amongst competition

Slimline Pool Centre recently walked away with three awards at the National Spa and Pool Institute’s annual awards ceremony.

They received a gold award for pools 18m and smaller and two silver awards for pools 20m to 36m in size, as well as in the restoration company.

Slimline Pool Centre is one of the largest pool centres in KZN and they have built more than 2 500 pools since they started almost two decades ago.

Kerry Niewoudt from Slimline Pool Centre in Ballito said being a business owner is liberating and wonderful to be able to do what she loves.

“Being in Ballito, our company is part of a fantastic community and it is great to be able to join like minded individuals and give back to the community!” said Niewoudt.

She believes that it is equal playing ground when it comes to men and women in business.

“It is all about reaping what you sow, there is not more challenges for women than for men,” said Niewoudt.

The thing she loves most about being in the business world?

“The ability to build my own customer relations and make my own decisions. I love overcoming challenges and offering solutions that result in happy customers.”
