A Wonderbag fan from the United States of America, Rosemary Iverson, provided the finance to donate ten Wonderbags to the Tongaat Child and Family Welfare Society last week.
Amy Watkins from the Wonderbag Foundation handed over the bags to Devi Naidoo, senior social worker at the organisation.
“It makes us very happy to receive donations from Wonderbag supporters all around the world and to be able to put their funds to good use. This $100 donation will change the lives of many people as the Tongaat Child and Family Welfare Society will re-distribute the bags to schools in the area, helping to lighten the load and lower the costs of cooking for these hungry mouths,” said Watkins.
Devi Naidoo said they are very happy to receive donations like these that will help the people that they serve to improve their lives in a practical way.
