Oscar Pistorius, who was set to be released on Tuesday under correctional supervision, dodged the media frenzy by being secretly released on Monday evening.
World media gathered at his uncle’s house in Waterkloof on Tuesday morning when news broke that the Paralympian was already home.
The Pistorius family spokesperson Anneliese Burgess arrived at the home this morning and said they will deliver a media statement later in the day.
