Festive shopping with a local touch returns to Sheffield Beach when the annual Christmas Fair with Flair takes place at Manor House from October 29 to 31.

Running from 8am to 5pm daily, the fair will feature 135 vendors selling Christmas décor, home accessories, gifts and locally made products.

The Christmas Fair Fund was founded 74 years ago by a circle of women determined to support people in need on the North Coast. It has since grown into an established charitable organisation supporting local schools, crèches and care centres.

Each year, the creative team meets from May to October to make items for the fair, volunteering their time, skills and resources.

The event also provides a platform for South African designers, artisans, artists, makers and bakers to showcase their products and reach new customers.

Shoppers can browse clothing, leather goods, jewellery, shoes, home décor, natural skincare products, stationery, original art and a range of gifts.

Food stalls will offer freshly baked goods, including the fair’s signature Christmas cakes, mince pies, date loaves and yoghurt cakes, as well as biltong, nuts, cheese, sauces, relishes, bread and sweet treats.

Children’s activities are planned for Saturday, with live entertainment throughout the three-day event. Shuttles will run from the parking area to the venue.

Tickets cost R120 per person and are available through Quicket or at Love Laugh Florist at Ballito Lifestyle Centre.

The fair is cashless, with payment by card or Zapper only.

Proceeds support the Christmas Fair Fund’s work with beneficiaries across the North Coast.
