A group of Ballito moms, called the Babes with Babes, have decided to collect Christmas parcels for moms and babies less fortunate then themselves.
To do this they are hosting a Family Charity Drive on Sunday November 15 at the Salt Rock Country Club. Entry is free you just need to bring a gift for a baby.
One of the organisers Jaerdine Bailey said they are encouraging the community and businesses to help them collect as many toys, baby clothes and baby toiletries as possible.
Experts will be offering advice on children’s health and diet issues but the main aim of the event is to bring the whole family for a picnic vibe by the swimming pool.

A local photographer has also offered to do family photos for those who want at a special fee of R200 for 10 photos, on the day.
