Woman allegedly assaulted by ex-boyfriend
She was assaulted with stones in Shaka's Head.
Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes last weekend.
* A house was broken into on David place, Ballito on Friday. Items valued at R32000 were stolen.
* A woman in Shayamoya was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition on Friday.
* A woman was assaulted with stones in Shaka’s Head on Saturday. She was assaulted allegedly by her ex-boyfriend. She sustained injuries to her neck, face and right eye.
* A man was arrested on Millview Road, Shakaskraal on Sunday for being in possession of a television suspected to be stolen.
* A resident parked his truck on Unit 5 Platinum Park Douglas Crow, Ballito on Saturday. He later got a SMS message from the tracker company informing him that the battery has been removed from the truck.
Umhlali SAPS urge residents and holidaymakers not to leave valuable items in their cars when they are going out the beach. They also urge residents to report crimes against women and children and human trafficking. Contact Umhlali SAPS on 032-9479900.
