Tremor felt across KZN
ER24 said a 3.1 magnitude earth tremor hit Durban and surroundings.
People across Ilembe and as far as Port Shepstone and inland to Pietermaritburg are reporting having felt an earth tremor at around 11am, Saturday February 6.
Ballito resident Claire Prodger said she felt her whole house shake.
According to some Twitter users the tremor was strong enough to knock over items in their homes.
ER24 tweeted that a 3.1 magnitude earth tremor hit Durban and surroundings.
Most tweets have claimed that the tremor lasted only a few seconds.
So far no damage or injuries have been reported.
A similar tremor was felt in KZN last year.
