Security guard killed in cold blood
A local security guard was shot and killed when he assisted colleagues in Tongaat.
A security guard from a local security business in Ballito was shot and killed last night at about 9pm (February 13) while assisting with the closure of a Tongaat shop.
“The security guard was shot through his mouth and robbed of his firearm,” said Paul Herbst from IPSS medical rescue.
Paramedics started CPR and advanced life support intervention but the security guard died of his injuries.
The Tongaat police are investigating the incident.
