Evasive murder suspect is behind bars
A 26-year-old man wanted for murder is found hiding in KwaDukuza.

A wanted murder suspect at large has finally been arrested and is behind bars where he joins his co-accused, Sanele Khumalo (21) who is already in custody for a murder and robbery case.
The arrested suspect is appearing today in the Ntuzuma Magistrates’ Court while his co-accused will stand trial in the Durban High Court on March 14.
An intelligence driven operation conducted by KwaMashu detectives on February 17 this year, led to the arrest of a 26-year-old suspect for murder at KwaDukuza where he had been hiding according to the KZN SAPS Media Centre’s Lieutenant Nqobile Gwala.
On 18 July 2015 at about 6pm, Amanda Ngcobo (25) was walking along Siyanda and Newland East Bridge when he was approached by armed robbers who took his tablet before shooting him on the head.
Ngcobo was taken to hospital where he later died.
Charges of murder and robbery were opened at KwaMashu Police Station for investigation.
KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Mmamonnye Ngobeni welcome the arrest of the wanted suspect.
“I am extremely proud that the team of dedicated and committed members finally arrested the suspect,” she said.
