Pretend house hunters rob Ballito home

Two women said they were interested in buying a house and stole three laptops.

Two women posing as house buyers, asked to look around a house in Ballito this afternoon and proceeded to steal three laptops.
The owner of the house in Madeleine Drive was at work at the time.
Kathryn Hulett said her domestic was off today and only her 19-year-old stepson was at home.
“There is a ‘for sale’ sign outside the house and the two women, in a white Ford Focus, asked my stepson if they could see the house as they were interested in buying it.
“He stupidly let them in and the one had a look around upstairs while the other wandered around downstairs.
“It was only after they left that he noticed the missing laptops.
“At this stage I don’t know what else they have stolen,” said Hulett.
