uShaka is the people’s top choice, again

A wave of positive reviews resulted in a top award for uShaka Marine World.

uShaka Marine World has done it again – and come out on top as an international tourist destination.

Having just received notification that Durban’s favourite marine theme park has won the “Top Choice 2016” award and a delighted CEO, Stella Khumalo, thanked and congratulated staff for going that extra mile to ensure uShaka Marine World delivered consistently good service and a visitor experience of international standard that has paid off.

The “Top Choice” award is a ranking system of attractions, amusement parks and destinations that is based on feedback from visitors from key Asian markets such as Japan, China, Mongolia and Korea.

Each year, all qualified medalists already selected the previous year are re-evaluated and added to the newly qualified candidates for 2016 and the them park achieved a top choice medal after another wave of positive reviews.

“From the largest aquarium in the African southern hemisphere, to a fun watery paradise at Wet ‘n Wild, as well as retail outlets for eager shoppers at Village Walk, a play place for kiddies at uShaka Kids World and an exhibition of creepy crawlies at Dangerous Creatures – it is no wonder that uShaka Marine World is the people’s choice for a destination any tourist should visit!” said Khumalo.
