Bather saved clutching Bible
A man was swept out to sea at Clark Bay and is lucky to be alive.
A 34-year-old man from Pretoria had a a narrow brush with death when he was swept away by the waves this morning at Clark Bay, Ballito.
Bystanders saw the man was in trouble and called paramedics at 7.20am.
In the mean time the man, clutching a Bible, caught a lucky break and managed to get himself back to shore.
IPSS Medical Rescue operations manager, Paul Herbst said the man was not injured but was taken to Stanger Hospital to be examined.
