Fatal microlight crash in Glendale

A man died in a microlight crash.

A microlight pilot, crop spraying in the Glendale area, died when the microlight hit a power line and crashed to the ground according to IPSS Security’s Dylan Meyrick.

 

Paramedics from the Department of Health’s Emergency Medical Services responded to a call from the sugar estate where the aircraft had crashed.

They found a man aged about 60 had sustained fatal injuries.
