A man is killed in R102 accident

The jaws of life were used to free the driver of the car.

The driver of a car died after colliding with a bakkie on the R102, Groutville yesterday at about 8pm.

IPSS Medical Rescue‘s Paul Herbst said KwaDuKuza Fire department used the jaws of life to free the driver of the car.

“The driver of the bakkie ran away,” said Herbst.
