The Dolphin Coast’s three brainy beauties
Levinia Arran and Corinne Durrheim-Cornellissen and Teneille White are the three Dolphine Coast Mrs SA finalists.
Three of the Schwarzkopf Professional Mrs South Africa 2016 top 25 finalists are from the Dolphin Coast.
Levinia Arran and Corinne Durrheim-Cornellissen live in Ballito and Teneille White is from Westbrook.
A star-studded red carpet kicked off the Mrs South Africa CANSA Gala dinner held at Emperors Palace, Johannesburg recently.
The top 100 semi-finalists, announced two months ago, pinnacled their journey of workshops, networking, judging and rehearsing when the announcement of the final top 25 was made by judges Zuraida Jardin, Joan Madibeng, Vusi Zwane and principal judge, Cindy Nell.
The finalists must now fund-raise and network until the final round of judging in October this year.
The bubbly Levinia Arran was excited to be announced as a finalist.
She said the judging process has been both interesting and exhausting.
“This competition is all about women’s empowerment so the ratio is 80 percent interviews and 20 per cent beauty/swimwear,” said Levinia who also won a prize for winning three out of five social media competitions.
“This has been a childhood dream of mine that I shared with my dad, who I sadly lost to cancer just over a year ago. I’m doing this to honour him and felt quite emotional at the event.”
Corinne said she was thrilled thrilled to have been chosen as one of the Top 25 Mrs South Africa Finalists, and represent beautiful Ballito, to the country.
“This pageant is a women empowerment programme and I plan to use this platform, to continue the upliftment work that I already do, but on a bigger scale. My motto is “to touch as many lives as I can, and whoever I
meet will leave me feeling inspired, positive and believe they can do anything.”
Teneille said: “I would like to be a role model and an inspiration to women, men and our youth in South Africa. It is never too late to follow your dreams, you can do it all.
“As women, wives, mothers and career women we have the ability to nurture and empower our young South African nation to work together to achieve harmony and beauty.
“My life motto is “‘every day is a new WOW'” I plan to make the most of my life and the positive influence I have to others around me.”
