Malema accused the local ANC leaders of asking men for bribes and women for sex in exchange for RDP houses.

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema stopped in KwaDukuza yesterday during his election rally tour of the country.
More than 100 EFF supporters cheered on their leader when he arrived at the Luthuli Centre in Groutville.
He urged the crowd not to be bought by gifts from the ANC during the elections.
“Do not be blinded by T-shirts and food parcels when you vote. The time for the ANC councilors in the Ilembe region has come to an end!”
Malema accused the local ANC leaders of asking men for bribes and women for sex in exchange for RDP houses.
“I don’t give T-shirts for votes, I give soul food. I am about the liberation of the mind of the African child.”
He urged the people to stop saying they are voting for Mandela when they vote ANC.
“Mandela is no more. It is now Zuma, don’t confuse him with Madiba.”
Malema ended by thanking the crowd for a peaceful meeting, claiming that the rally in eSikhaweni, outside Richard’s Bay earlier that day had been disrupted by the ANC.
In March the local EFF branch were in hot water after the streets of Ballito and Shaka’s Head were plastered with illegal election posters. The branch denied responsibility for the defacement of public property.
In April last year the party also made headlines when they attempted a land grab at Ballito.
