Dolphin Coast Taxi Association PRO shot dead last night
Umhlali SAPS's Vinny Pillay said police do not yet know why Mdu Tony was shot.
The Dolphin Coast Taxi Association’s Public Relations Officer, Mdu Tony died last night after being shot in his vehicle in Nkobongo, near Shakaskraal.
Tony was rushed to Alberlito Hospital’s emergency room by his friends where doctors attempted to save his live.
An eye witness who was in the ER at the time said Tony had been shot in the head.
“His friends were covered in blood and the back window was riddled with bullets,” she said.
Umhlali SAPS’s Vinny Pillay said the reasons for the shooting are unknown.
“He was sitting in his van when people in a black ND car fired shots at him then drove off.
“No arrests have been made,” said Pillay.
