Speedster fun run to support Miracle Mission
The event is aimed at giving local runners and walkers an evening of cardio - not too mention excellent cuisine and beer at Mozambik, all in support of charity.
On your marks, get set – go!
It’s that time of year again – time for the annual Speedster fun run for charity on Thursday, September 22.
The event is aimed at giving local runners and walkers an evening of cardio – not too mention excellent cuisine and beer at Mozambik, all in support of charity.
Bev Livingstone, who has been the driving force behind this annual event for 10 years now, said the support over the years has been phenomenal
“Mozambik with Brett and his team supplying the snacks and the venue for our charity at no cost, and The North Coast Courier for their ongoing support, have both been involved from the very inception of the Speedster.
Thank you to Corrie Calitz and Cornelia Dickinson from Harcourts Ballito, as well as Mica, Dis-Chem, Slimline, Bosch and many more who have donated prizes for winners and lucky draws.”
All money raised this year will go to Miracle Mission, which is owned and run by local Zinkwazi resident Glynis Sack.
Miracle Mission was founded 16 years ago with the aim of helping abandoned and abused babies and children, and those that are infected with the HIV virus.
