Woman raped in tavern’s toilet cubicle, Nkobongo
Weekend crime report from Umhlali police.
Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes last weekend.
· A house was broken into on Marion Road, Ballito on Friday. A phone and laptop was stolen.
· A woman was raped in a toilet cubicle of a tavern in Nkobongo on Sunday.
· A house was broken into in Shayamoya on Sunday night. Laptop, jewellery, money and cosmetics were stolen.
Umhlali SAPS urge residents and holidaymakers not to leave valuable items in their cars when they are going out the beach.
Surfers are urged not to hide their keys on the sand, because that will put their cars in risk of getting stolen.
