Weekend crime report: 2 stabbed

Umhlali SAPS attended the following crimes this weekend:

· A house was broken into in Caledon Estate on Friday night. A laptop was stolen.

· A car was stolen at the Ballito Bay Mall parking on Friday. The grey Peugeot with registration number NJ 77496 had a laptop inside.

· A man was stabbed and assaulted with a beer bottle by three women in Etete, Velani Township on Sunday.

· A man was stabbed in Nkobongo on Sunday. His girlfriend was also assaulted.

Umhlali SAPS urge residents and holidaymakers not to leave valuable items in their cars when they are going out the beach. Surfers are reminded not to hide their keys on the sand, as this put their cars at risk of getting stolen. Contact Umhlali SAPS on 032-9479900.
