Three people died in an accident between Mandeni and the steel bridge over the Tugela River yesterday evening at about 8pm.
IPSS Medical Rescue’s Dylan Merick said a bakkie and a car collided.
“Six people suffered serious injuries, two of which had amputations.
“Four people were treated for minor injuries,” he said.
