Thieves pose as delivery men in Ballito robbery

The three men seemed to have known the shop and were familiar with where everything was.

Three Indian men reportedly walked into Mangwanani African Spa on Douglas Crowe Drive in the Ballito CBD yesterday afternoon, claiming they were doing a delivery.

According to Umhlali SAPS spokesperson, Vinny Pillay the men seemed to have known the shop and were familiar with where everything was.

“When one of the staff members went on lunch break, the men took the opportunity to grab the Dell laptop and make a run for it,” said Pillay.

The neighbouring businesses noticed the men running away and alerted Mangwanani of the theft.

The police are investigating further.

Mangwanani African Spa management were not available for comment.
