Notorious N2 Zinkwazi claims another life
A man was killed after another horrific crash on the N2 near Zinkwazi last night
Shortly after 8pm last night a truck and a light motor vehicle were involved in a head-on crash on the N2, leaving one man dead.
The crash occurred on the stretch of the N2 highway north of Zinkwazi, a road known for its horrific accidents and the many lives lost there.

“As per eyewitnesses the light motor vehicle travelling from Mandeni towards Zinkwazi veered into the north bound lane, colliding with the truck head-on,” said IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst.
The crash left the driver of the light motor vehicle trapped in the wreckage.
When the paramedics arrived the trapped driver was declared dead.
“KwaDukuza Fire and Rescue personnel had to use the jaws of life to extricate the deceased from the wreckage.”
